More About Jay
Jason Buczkowski (Jay) is a video producer in St. Paul, MN who works with businesses and other organizations to create video content that helps these entities grow. As the world continues to be more reliant on digital devices, Jay understands that video is a critical tool for businesses to communicate their messages quickly and concisely in their online spaces.
Jay’s career in video production began with Diversified Media Resources, a corporate communications firm based in St. Cloud, MN. He served as the company’s videographer and he also produced and directed programs for Fortune 500 clientele as well. Additionally, he served as a live event producer, in charge of delivering A/V support for corporate meetings and other live events.
Jay then moved on to join the production team at ShopNBC (now known as Evine Live), a national home shopping channel. He started as an on-air director/technical director, where he directed prime sales hours programming as well as special event programs. He then became a production manager, where he was responsible for the hiring, training and day-to-day operations of the on-air production crew. Also in that position, he partnered with producers, vendors, and production staff to develop presentations for broadcast.
In 2017, Jay launched his own business in order to take advantage of the exciting opportunities that are currently happening in the video production industry. In addition to the video work he does with businesses and non-profit organizations, he is also directing a documentary about the press and political corruption in 1930’s Minnesota.
Jay is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications, with an emphasis in television production.
Away from work Jay enjoys the outdoors, loves camping and exploring trails in the great outdoors of Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is also an avid baseball fan and loves a good mystery novel.
